Do you allow listings by commercial real estate companies?
No, unlike other sites, BeachRealty.net is exclusively for "By Owner" listings.
Can I list a property I own at a ski resort?
No, the site is exclusively for communities along the North Gulf Coast - this allow us to focus our site-promotion to a select market and provide exceptional exposure for our listings.
How do I add photos to my listing?
Adding photos is a simple part of the listing process. Once you reach the Add Photos step, click the browse button, then locate & select the photo from your computer files, enter a caption for the photo and click the Upload button; repeat this procedure until all of your photos have been uploaded to your listing. Photos can be deleted or added 24 hours a day.
What type of photo files can be uploaded?
Photos with a file extension of .jpg can be uploaded to your listing. Offensive photos and photos including telephone numbers or website/email addresses, are not permitted.
Is there a limit on the number of photos?
No, you may upload as many photos as you like.
What if my photos are on the Internet, instead of my computer?
You can download your photos from the internet to your computer and then upload them to your listing. From the web-page with your photos, place the mouse pointer over the photo, right-click the mouse on the photo and select "Save Picture As" or “Save Image As” from the menu; enter a name for the photo and make note of the file location - click the “Save” button. Repeat this procedure until you have downloaded all of your photos onto your computer. Once your photos have been downloaded, you can upload them to your listing by following the instructions above.
How do I edit my listing, photos &/or availability-calendar?
Simply login to the site to view your listing(s), select “Add / Edit Photos” to edit your photos. To edit the listing or update the availability-calendar, select the “Edit” button. The listing description, photos & the availability-calendar can be updated 24 hours a day.
What happens if I delete my listing?
Do not delete your listing unless you intend to stop renting, or attempting to sell, your property. Once a listing is deleted, it is removed from the system and you will have to purchase another listing if you want to advertise the property again.
Is there a direct URL to my listing?
Yes, your direct URL is http://BeachRealty.net/ plus the digits at the end of the address in your internet-browser while viewing your listing (i.e. http://www.beachrealty.net/listing-details.php?cn=98 the direct URL is - http://www.beachrealty.net/98). You can use your direct URL in follow-up emails, web-sites and other advertisements.
Can other properties be added to, or exchanged with, my current listing?
No, only one property per listing is permitted.
How do I know the other party is legitimate?
As with newspapers, magazines or other web-sites, you must make adequate inquiry to be comfortable with the party you are doing business with - obtain & verify telephone numbers and a physical address, ask for & verify references. Use caution when dealing with Owners outside of the U.S., or Renters requesting a refund soon after making a payment by check; additionally, be wary of parties with limit knowledge of an area, or have an unusually low price.
Do you publish telephone numbers, or website & email addresses?
No, we protect your personal information while maintaining the integrity of our site. Once mutual interest has been established, you can divulge any information you deem appropriate.
Does BeachRealty.net manage or sale properties directly?
No. BeachRealty.net is a fee-based listing/marketing service, we are not a licensed real estate broker; no real estate brokerage services are offered or implied.
What is your refund policy?
To obtain a refund. you must request a full refund during the initial 60 days of your first listing. There are no refunds after the initial 60 days, or for any subsequent listings.
