This very private, quiet, Cape-Cod style home overlooks a wild canyon, and
on a clear day you get a peek ocean-view. Go out back onto the large
redwood deck to barbecue, relax and enjoy the wide-open views. Or take a
dip in one of 2 association pools that are a three to five minute walk from
the house. There is an ocean-view adult pool and a kid/adult Olympic-size
pool; both pools have Jacuzzis, if you want a relaxing soak after a long
day of fun in the sun. At night you can hear the sounds of crickets, frogs,
and coyotes and fall asleep watching the stars and city lights from your
bed in the master bedroom.
You will feel right at home in this fully furnished house. There are a
washer and dryer, gas stove, refrigerator/freezer, microwave, and
dishwasher for your convenience, and the kitchen is equipped with pots and
pans, silverware, plates and everything you need for your home-cooked
meals. Or you can cook your meals on the gas barbecue on the deck. Cable
television and Roku are available for your entertainment; access hundreds
of Netflix movies using the television remote. Your friends and family can
stay in touch because wireless internet-access and free local and
long-distance phone calls are included.
The house sleeps 6 comfortably. The master bedroom has a queen-size bed;
there are two antique twin beds in the guest bedroom, and the third bedroom
has two twin beds. A day bed can be used for an extra guest downstairs.
Many of the furnishings in this home are beautiful antiques so it is
suitable for mature children only.
Step out the front door onto miles of trails to local parks and Salt Creek
Beach, one of the most beautiful beaches in Southern California. There are
ocean views around every bend. The house is centrally located; it is near
beaches, theme parks, museums, shopping and dining. Laguna Beach, the
Mission at San Juan Capistrano, Dana Point Harbor, and San Clemente Pier
are all minutes away. The Pageant of the Masters is a must-see event in
Laguna Beach in the summer. Disneyland is about a half hour away, or plan a
day trip to San Diego’s Sea World—an hour away. World-class museums,
including LACMA, the Getty and the Getty Villa, are also an hour away in
Los Angeles. And you won’t miss your plane trip home because Orange
County’s John Wayne Airport is only twenty-five minutes away.
