Welcome to Kailua, on Oahu, one of the Conde Nast Top 10 beaches in the
world. Mellow, laid-back people stay at our beautiful studio suite.
We are located on the windward side of Oahu, where the trade winds
originate. We are in Enchanted Lake, a 3 min. drive from Kailua beach, 3
miles of the world's most beautiful white sand. We are just 20 minutes from
Honolulu and 35 min. to Waikiki.
Another 2 minute drive from Kailua Beach will take you to Lanikai beach
with a great view of the famous Mokulua Islands (Mokes for short). This is
an active neighborhood for 1-2 mellow people, max. We have 2 bikes, 2
boogie boards & 1 surf ski(small kayak) for your own personal use.
We have free parking on the property. Coin laundry facilities
available.
There is kayaking, boogie boarding, surfing, windsurfing, kite surfing,
snorkeling, beachcombing at the beach. Regular kayak rentals are on the way
to the beach.
It's fun to walk, jog, or hike all around Kailua, around the lake or the
Kawainui Marsh, a preservation area for birds and wildlife. This studio has
its own private entrance and spacious bathroom.
There is a queen bed & kitchenette with microwave, small hotel
refrigerator, coffee maker, rice cooker/steamer & toaster. Also equipped
with a hair dryer & iron.
The famous big waves of North Shore is just 30 minutes away on a beautiful
ocean drive. Hanauma Bay for snorkeling is just 20 min. away.
Kailua has many restaurants for the Shack for beer and burgers, Mexican,
Saeng's Thai, Assagio's Italian, Baci Bistro, Buzz's Steakhouse, McDonalds,
Coldstone Creamery, California Pizza Kitchen. Shops include Macy's, Longs
Drugs, Bookends (new and used books),Pier 1, Antique stores, Safeway,
Boutiques and Blockbuster.
Besides books, the public library even has movies and cd's you can borrow.
